SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary focus of the Administrative Assistant Foundation is to provide administrative, logistical, procedural and fundraising support to the Foundation. Under the supervision of the CFO, this individual interacts with residents, families, trustees, management and other employees to fulfill the purpose, values and goals of the Laurel Lake Retirement Community Foundation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one-year experience in Development including annual giving programs
and database management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Excellent clerical and communications skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, accurate, organized and personable.

- Ability to develop timelines, set and meet deadlines and manage projects.

PRINCIPAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Learn the Donor Development software system.
- Manage Foundation database and files including gift processing, acknowledgement tracking and reporting. This includes management of the Laurel Benefactor and Living Legacy Society members lists and updating displays with additional members as they are added.
- Assist in organizing and implementing the annual Tribute Campaign(s) and other social gatherings.
- Assist in the development and production of all correspondence to donors and donor families, collateral materials, publications and website content as well as promotional activities.
- Assist with Foundation Board of Directors meetings and committees preparing agendas, minutes and follow-up activities. This includes grant applications distribution and management.
- Monitor and track condition of gifted items and areas on campus through an annual review process and initiate proper maintenance. Manage the Memorial/Honorarium program, including correspondence, tracking, reporting and follow-up.
- Receive and respond to calls, emails, and letters received by the Foundation.
- Other duties as assigned by the CFO or the Foundation Chairperson.
