Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) / Exempt / 8:30am-5:00pm

Starting Salary:  $90,462.00 - $144,738.00

 

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Adheres to local, state and federal regulations in the overall operations of the Crown Center,  inclusive of annual surveys and PBJ reporting.
  2. Monitors the QAPI program to promote the quality of care for all residents.
  3. Ensures and demonstrates excellent customer service.
  4. Reviews contracts in collaboration with the Director of Assisted Living for outside services, vendors and programs to assure compliance with regulations.
  5. Maintains good rapport/open communication with staff, residents, vendors, families, visitors, etc.
  6. Prepares and adheres to operational budgets and goals.
  7. Supervise and hold accountable the staff within Admissions, Social Services, Nursing Administration, Programming, and Mission.
  8. Adheres to Laurel Lake’s purpose, values, management philosophy, etc.
  9. Markets to both internal and external potential residents for skilled nursing.
  10. Risk Manager
  11. Corporate Compliance Officer
  12. Work in connection with CEO to hold other Director’s accountable for areas under their supervision such as Dining, Environmental Services and Marketing.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Nursing Home Administration, Health Care Administration, or Gerontology

 

Licensure, Certification and Registration:

Current State of Ohio Nursing Home Administrator’s License

 

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in administration of a multi-leveled environment; knowledge of finances and reimbursement systems

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Demonstrated leadership qualities with a passion for senior care services

Preferred experience with Corporate Compliance & Risk Management
